Clermont, Iowa Man Turns Himself in to Authorities

A Clermont, Iowa man who was wanted on sexual Asselt charges has turned himself in. 45 year old Matthew Eric Nordrum turned himself in to the Fayette County Sheriff’s office this morning. Nordrum was held on a $25,000 bond.  Further charges are pending in this case.  On Monday the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office had put out a press release looking for the public’s assistance in locating Nordrum, who was alleged to have sexually assaulted a victim under 5 years old in his home in Clermont, as well as several other victims.  Fayette County Sheriff Marty Fisher said he would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.
