Public Health encourages everyone to continue to take steps to protect our communities and prevent COVID-19 from straining our health care systems.  Self-testing at home can help you make decisions that reduce your chances of spreading the virus. A COVID-19 self-test is a test that you can take at home or anywhere. They are easy to use and produce rapid results.  You can use a self-test regardless of vaccination status or symptoms. Self-tests detect current infection. They cannot tell you if you were previously infected. You may consider using a self-test if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or were exposed to COVID-19.   If you have questions about when to test or next steps if you test positive, give Public Health a call at 608-326-0229.
