Three People Arrested in Fayette County Drug Bust

On 6-17-22, at approximately 12:30 AM, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 16628 Empire Rd. Wadena IA.  During a search of the residence, multiple illegal substances were found and seized, along with $4,745 in cash.  Illegal substances seized were over ½ pound of methamphetamine, over 1 pound of psychedelic mushrooms, just under 5 pounds of marijuana, 3 ½ pounds of THC edibles, approximately 100 THC oil cartridges/vapes, and just under ½ pound of chocolate edible psychedelic mushrooms.  During the search 60-year-old Connie Wilson, of Wadena, was arrested and Charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver methamphetamine (B Felony), with Possession with Intent to Deliver psychedelic mushrooms, marijuana, and THC Oils (All D Felonies) Possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, cannabidiol, psychedelic mushrooms and drug paraphernalia (misdemeanors).  52-year-old Frederick Alan Degreif, of Wadena, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Offense, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms, and THC Oils, all D Felonies, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.  56-year-old Steven Lynn Boleyn, of Wadena, was arrested and charged with Possession of a controlled substance 3rd Offense Methamphetamine D Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.  Degreif, Wilson, and Boleyn were taken into custody and transported to Fayette County jail, where they are being held until initial appearance.  If Convicted, Wilson could face up to 40 years in prison, and Degreif could face up to 20 years in prison.  Fayette County Sheriff Marty Fisher estimates that the street value of controlled substances that was seized was worth up to $60,000.  This incident remains under investigation.
