Two people were taken to the hospital following a semi accident in Grant County Monday afternoon. The Grant County Sheriff’s Department says 34 year old Tahir Ali of Madison was operating the semi owned by Pan-O-Gold Baking Company south on Highway 151 when the truck went onto the shoulder of the highway and Tahir over-corrected causing the truck to turn sharply sideways, roll onto the side and then slide into the median. Tahir and his passenger, 58 year old Douglas Yager of Columbus, were transported to Mercy Hospital due to injuries. Dickeyville EMS, Southwest Health EMS, Dickeyville Fire Department and Cuba City Police Department assisted at the scene.
