Work to replace the WIS 179 bridge over the Kickapoo River near the County E intersection in Crawford County, is scheduled to begin on Friday, August 5. Other improvements include new pavement, guardrail, pavement markings and signage.
Motorists can expect to encounter WIS 179 closed to traffic and detoured using WIS 27, WIS 171 and WIS 131.
Construction is currently scheduled for completion in November 2022. The construction schedule is based on favorable weather conditions and construction status.
