A Clayton County Deputy found a vehicle on its side in a steep ravine after taking a report of a vehicle in the ditch. The incident happened on August 28th near the intersection of Klein Brewery Road and Kimberly Avenue. No occupants were found in the vehicle and the deputy was not able to contact the registered owner, who called the deputy later that morning saying that her vehicle was missing and had been stolen. She eventually confessed to falsely reporting it stolen and was present during the crash as a passenger. 56 year old Tracey Kirschbaum was charged with filing a false report. The driver, 39 year old Jesse Regal of Marquette was cited for failure to maintain control and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
