Two people suffered fatal injuries Sunday as the result of a two-vehicle traffic crash on US Highway 18 between the bridges of Prairie du Chien and Marquette. The Crawford County Sheriff says the accident happened at about 11:20 Sunday morning. The drivers of the vehicles were fatally injured, and the highway was closed for around 4 and a half hours. A more detailed news release will be completed by the Sheriff’s Office and sent out Monday. The highway was reopened at 3:45 Sunday afternoon.
