The city of Prairie du Chien is gearing up for a celebration this summer that will observe the 350th anniversary of Marquette and Joliet’s voyage that brought them to the Prairie du Chien area. Prairie du Chien Main Street and the Prairie du Chien Historical Society are planning a kick off event and fundraiser on Saturday, February 18th
That’s Main Street Director Tammie Katzung who says the event will be held at the historic Dousman and will be just like stepping into 1673:
