The Winneshiek Medical Center Board of Trustees has approved a new name and brand . At their meeting Wednesday, the board approved changing the name from Winneshiek Medical Center to WinnMed. The new name will be in effect early this summer. Chief Administrative Officer Steve Slessor says that the new name closely connects to the current identity, but is shortened to be easy to see, say and remember. The board also revealed a new logo.
