A Gays Mills man faces his 7th OWI charge. 58 year old Lawrence Nelson was arrested Saturday afternoon after a Wisconsin State Trooper conducted a traffic stop in Gays Mills at Highway 131 and Blue Bird Lane for speeding. The Trooper observed signs of impairment and conducted a Field Sobriety Test and Nelson was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – 7th Offense. Nelson was taken by the Trooper to the Crawford County Jail.
