On December 6, 2024, at approximately 10:25 PM, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office received a disturbance call in rural Guttenberg. Deputies responded to the scene and found Cody W. Hartfield (29) of Guttenberg used an axe to destroy the windows of vehicle not belonging to him. Cody was placed under arrest and charged with criminal mischief in the 3’d degree, an aggravated misdemeanor. The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Guttenberg Police Department.
