One Person Injured in a Car vs. Buggy Crash

On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at approximately 9:52 a.m., The Grant County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a vehicle vs. Buggy accident, on
Highway 61, in the Township of Marion. After a brief investigation it was determined that Gail Wetter, 69, of Boscobel, was traveling south in
her 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix when her rear driver side tire blew out. When the tire blew out, it caused Wetter to lose control of her vehicle and
she crashed into the back of a horse and buggy that was being operated by Enos Kinsinger, 24, of Boscobel. Wetter’s vehicle ended up on the
east side of the roadway and the buggy was completely destroyed, and ended up on the west edge of the roadway.

Wetter complained of minor injuries on scene and was transported by Boscobel EMS to Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital. Neither Kinsinger
or his horse were injured in the incident. Wetter’s vehicle was removed from the scene by Terry’s Tire and Tow out of Boscobel. Assisting at
the scene were Fennimore Police Department, Boscobel Fire and EMS, and Terry’s Tire and Tow.
