On Sunday, June 1st, 2025, Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of an adult male luring a juvenile into the back of a white cargo van on County Road K in the Township of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
An investigation revealed that Shawn Levock (48) of Prairie du Chien, lured a 14 year old into the back of a van with the intent of engaging in sexual acts with the juvenile, however, the juvenile exited the van without being physically or sexually abused.
Levock is a registered lifetime sex offender. He was arrested and he is currently being held in the Crawford County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond for a charge of child enticement.
