The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the death of an adult female in the Town of Muscoda. On September 10, 2025, at approximately 6:15pm, a neighbor called and requested law enforcement respond to check on their neighbor who they thought was either passed out or passed away in her driveway. A deputy from the Sheriff’s Office responded and located a deceased female lying on the ground alongside the driveway to her residence.
**Update: The Grant County Sheriff’s Office has identified Shyanne Malone, 53, of rural Muscoda, as the decedent involved in the investigation in the Town of Muscoda on September 10, 2025. An autopsy was conducted at UW-Hospital in Madison on Friday, September 12, 2025. No further information is being released at this time pending additional investigation and results from the autopsy.
