Crawford County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Hit and Run in Seneca

Town of Seneca, Wis. – On Sunday, October 19th, 2025, at approximately 8:06 p.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a hit and run traffic crash on State Highway 27 near Snyder Road. A Ford F-250 pickup truck was decreasing speed for a vehicle preparing to turn left. The pickup truck was rear-ended by a sedan, which fled the scene at a high rate of speed northbound on State Highway 27. The sedan entered Mount Sterling and nearly struck a pedestrian as it turned off State Highway 27 onto West Street. The sedan was described as a tan-colored late 1990’s to early 2000’s Buick LeSebre.
