Faith in Action Radio Auction

Q94 & Faith in Action will host their 4th Annual Radio Auction on Saturday, March 21st. The auction broadcast will begin at 8am.

This year, the auction will take place at Huckleberry’s in Prairie du Chien. Bidders will have a chance to bid over the phone like normal, or live on-site (at Huckleberry’s) via a silent bid.

Faith in Action will post a list of auction items on their website.

Dangerous, Bitter Cold Pours into the Area

One of the coldest airmasses of the decade will pour into the area Wednesday and become entrenched in the area tonight. Temperatures will fall Wednesday afternoon as northwest winds increase to 10 to 20 MPH. The result will be dangerous wind chills developing this afternoon.

Air temperatures will bottom out between 20 and 30 degrees below zero Wednesday night. The extreme temperatures will remain until Friday.

A Wind Chill Warning is in effect until noon Friday.

Snow Monday, Bitter Cold Until Friday

Three to five inches of snow are possible before windy and cold conditions take hold of the area Monday night. Wind chills will drop to twenty to thirty below zero early Tuesday. Temperatures are expected to stay below ten degrees until seasonal weather returns this weekend.

Underwood a Big Winner at People’s Choice

Carrie Underwood was the big country winner at last night’s People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles.

Carrie took home a three crystal trophies — Favorite Female Singer, Favorite Country Song for “Last Name” and became the first winner the new category, Favorite Star Under 35. Among those Carrie beat to win her titles were Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Alicia Keys and Rihanna.

Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley lost out to R-&-B superstar Chris Brown in the Favorite Male Singer category.
