The opening of the new Crossing Rivers Health Clinic in Prairie du Chien will allow for the integration of behavioral health in the primary care setting, which will help bridge the gap between physical and mental health.
Crossing Rivers Behavioral Health Counselor Lacey Anthony said that patients will no longer need to go to one place to get their physical health needs met and another for their mental health needs – instead, they will be treating the whole patient right within the new Crossing Rivers Health Prairie du Chien Clinic. The new clinic, anticipated to open in the spring of 2023, will be 12,000 square feet larger than the current space and connected directly to the north end of the Crossing Rivers Health Medical Center.
