1. Blake Thiry (Prairie du Chien High School) Blake helped get the Blackhawks back on track Friday night with a win over River Valley. Blake was a force on both sides of the ball. He had 9 carries for 172 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also had 3 catches for 81 yards and another touchdown. On defense he had 6 tackles, a sack, and a 16 yard interception returned for a touchdown to help the Blackhawks defeat River Valley 43-12.
2. Lucy Manning (Seneca High School) Lucy has demonstrated her dominance as an all around volleyball player for the Royals. She recorded a season high of 25 kills and 12 digs against Kickapoo. She followed that up with 23 kills and 12 digs against North Crawford. She continues to lead the Royals through her positive leadership and pushes her teammates to continue to grow and improve each game. Lucy also helped the Royals to a 4-3 record last week.
3. Jaxon Brinkman (Waukon High School) Jaxon helped the Indians get to 2-3 on the season with an impressive performance on the ground. Jaxon ran the ball 27 times for 215 yards. He averaged 8 yards per carry and took 4 of his carries into the endzone for touchdowns. Jaxon also picked up a couple tackles on defense to help the Indians defeat Crestwood 34-20.
