Congratulations to Breanna Gilbertson

Congratuations to this year’s Q94 Colgate Country Showdown winner, Breanna Gilbertson from Cashton.  Breanna sang “Nothin’ Better to Do” by LeAnn Rimes.  Gilbertson won $500 from Peoples State Bank and will advance to the state competition later this summer.

Katie Pruessing from Westby took second place.  Prairie du Chien’s Shane Hazen took third.

Attendance for this year’s Showdown once again topped the 3,000 mark.  Attendees were treated to some great performances and mostly dry weather.  Thanks again for helping make this year’s Showdown a success.

The Colgate Country Showdown is June 27th in Downtown Prairie du Chien.  The show will start at 7:00pm.  The stage will be in the city parking lot near the AmericInn and Fort Mulligan’s.  Free admission.  Q94 will be broadcasting live throughout the day from the Showdown site with the latest information on the show, directions, and parking information.

Country Showdown’s TOP EIGHT!!!

After three days of voting, Friday morning Q94 announced the Top Eight finalists for this year’s Colgate Country Showdown. They are:

Trisha Walsh (Bagley)
Lenny Kittoe (Baraboo)
Katie Pruessing (Westby)
April Tesar-Vine (Prairie du Chien)
Breanna Gilbertson (Cashton)
Autumn Skye Kivi (Bagley)
Shane Hazen (Prairie du Chien)
Danielle Brady (Pardeeville)

These eight finalists will perform at the Colgate Country Showdown presented by Sut Hill Ford/Dodge in Downtown Prairie du Chien on June 27th. An panel of four judges will score the contestants and determine the winner. The winner will receive $500 from Peoples State Bank and will advance to the state competition held at the Wisconsin State Fair.
