A school bus scare in Fredricksburg, Iowa on Friday afternoon.
At 4:22, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a Fredricksburg School District bus driver saying that the she was not able to stop the bus. A mechanical malfunction had cause the throttle to stick.
The driver was eventually able to get the bus stopped and got all of the passengers off the bus.
There was no damage to the bus and no injuries reported.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Sumner Fire Department.
