9:00am : People, Places, & Things w/Dan Moris
Dan Moris has been broadcasting on the radio for more than a decade. He’s been creating media content for even longer. As a high-schooler, Moris would create and stream his own radio shows on the internet (before the term “pod-casting” had even been conceived). A few years later in college, he began working for the student-run radio station WSUP. During his 4 years there, he had served as the station’s morning show host, Production Director, and Assistant Station Manager.
Moris worked for WPVL in Platteville as a board operator for a year before taking a part-time job at WQPC. Soon after, he became the Morning Show host – a spot he held for five years. During that time, he also contributed to play-by-play for high school sports on the station. Now, after spending three years away from radio, Moris is back as the Station Manager and News Director.

Best Radio Memory: I have fond memories of co-creating and co-hosting the Tri-State Music Connection on WSUP, a weekly show dedicated exclusively to local music/bands. It was so great to promote the music scene that existed in the area at the time – while being a part of it myself as the drummer for the band All Envy Aside.
If I Could Be Anywhere It Would Be: The ocean, on the beach or in a boat. Key West is a particularly favorite spot, but anywhere in the Caribbean will do.
