Grant County Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

A Decorah, Iowa woman faces charges after being stopped by a Grant County Deputy. On Friday, June 17th , 43 year old Regina Price was stopped on Highway 133 west of Peer Road in Grant County for an equipment violation. Price used a false name when she identified herself to the deputy. Drug paraphernalia was discovered during the stop and a search of the vehicle uncovered suspected methamphetamine, suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia, scales, plastic baggies with and without suspected drug residue among other drug related items.

Price was taken to the Grant County Jail for possession of methamphetamine and resisting or obstructing an officer. She faces charges of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. Price was also issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
