On Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit (Diego) initiated a traffic stop in Prairie du Chien. During the stop, K-9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. The driver, Christopher Myers (52) of La Crosse, Wisconsin, and his passenger Calvin Uhrich (35) of La Crosse, Wisconsin, were arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. All individual(s) are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
