Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Seneca

Town of Seneca, Wis. — On Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, at approximately 2:19 p.m., Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on WIS-STH 27 at the intersection of Stoney Point Road.  

Law enforcement, medical, and fire personnel responded to the scene. Law enforcement learned that Charles Marshall (66) of Conway, South Carolina, was riding a motorcycle with two other motorcyclists, and as the group was preparing to turn onto Stoney Point Road, Marshall struck the rear of another motorcycle and crashed. He wasn’t wearing a helmet, and he was ejected from his motorcycle. He sustained life-threatening injuries, and he was airlifted to a medical facility. The following day, Marshall succumbed to his injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Seneca Fire Department, Seneca First Responders, Ocooch Mountain Rescue, Gundersen Air, and Milo’s Towing Service.
