Search Warrant Leads to Arrest of Elgin Woman

On 9-24-25, at approximately 3:30AM, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at an apartment at 240 Center St. Elgin IA.  During a search methamphetamine, baggies, other schedule substances, a variation of pills, and paraphernalia were found and seized.  Kimberly Denise Fisher, 40 of Elgin, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine 1st Offense, 2 counts of Possession of other Schedule substance all serious misdemeanors and Interference with Official Acts and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia both simple misdemeanors.  Kim Fisher was taken into custody and transported to Fayette County Jail, where she awaited initial appearance.  This is the 2nd narcotics related search warrant executed where controlled substances were seized at this same location in a 6-month time period.
