Two Vehicle Crash with Blockage

On 8/18/2022, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a two vehicle crash with blockage. Brenden Snyder, age 17 of Rewey, was
operating a 2011, white, RAM 2500 pick up truck eastbound on highway 81. Snyder was stopped in the intersection of 81 and Bunker Ridge
Road, waiting for traffic to clear to make a left turn.

Brice Fundell, age 19 of Tonica, Il was operating his 2000 black SAAB coupe eastbound as well, when Brice stated he suddenly lost
consciousness and collided into the rear of the RAM pickup. Brice’s vehicle sustained heavy front end damage as a result of the crash, and
was towed from the scene. The RAM pickup received functional damage to the rear end of the vehicle. Brice sustained minor injuries as a
result of the crash, but refused treatment at the scene. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Platteville Fire
Department, and SOS Road Rescue of Platteville. The crash remains under investigation.

Car Vs. Guardrail

On Saturday, August 20, 2022 at approximately 1:40pm, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a one vehicle accident on State
Highway 35/61 in Paris Township.

After investigation, it was determined that Kylie Luckey age 21 of Lancaster was operating a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu Northbound when she lost
control of the vehicle after an equipment malfunction, crossed the centerline and struck the guardrail on the southbound side of the highway.
Kylie had her seatbelt on at the time of the crash and denied any injuries. The guardrail sustained significant damage and the car was towed
by Bennett’s Automotive of Lancaster.

Car vs UTV

On Saturday August 20, 2022 at approximately 4:30 PM the Grant County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a Vehicle vs UTV crash with injuries
on CTH H at CTH HHH.

Jennifer L. Simplot (52) of Oregon, WI was stopped on CTH HHH in her 2013 Kia Sorento. Jacob M. Lange (31) of Cuba City was traveling
west on CTH H in a 2021 Can AM UTV. Simplot looked but did not see the UTV and pulled into the intersection. Lange was unable to stop and
crashed into the passenger door of the Kia Sorento. Simplot was not injured in crash, her passenger, Aimee Delaney (51) of Dubuque, IA
sustained injuries but refused transport.

Lange was transported by private vehicle for his injuries. The passenger in the UTV, Ryan Mowry (34) of Appleton, WI was transported by
ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Dubuque. Both the Kia Sorento and Can AM sustained heavy damage and were towed from the intersection.
Simplot was cited for failure to yield right of way. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Hazel Green Police Department, Jamestown Fire
Department, Jamestown First Responders, Dickeyville EMS and the Cuba City EMS and Automotion Towing of Kieler.
