The Grant County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the search for a missing baby on Friday. Authorities received a call that a baby in a horse and buggy was missing in Hickory Grove Township near Fennimore. The mother had tied the horse to a pole at a residence. The Horse worked loose from the pole and took off with the baby in the buggy. Officers from several departments began searching for the buggy. A short time later a person assisting in the search located the baby still in the buggy. The baby was evaluated by EMS and was found to be in good condition.
