The City of Prairie du Chien Fire Department held their annual awards banquet Saturday evening. Assistant Fire Chief Steve Rickleff was named Firefighter of the Year. Dan Gillitzer was named Rookie of the Year. Lieutenant Ben Pintz was recognized for making 100 percent of the fire calls in the past year. Charlie Connell was given the Community Partner award.
Several firefighters were recognized for their years of service including Lieutenant Dustin Folsom 10 years; Lieutenant Tim Deluhery Junior 15 years; Safety Officer Matthew Stubbe 25 years; Assistant Chief Steve Rickleff 30 years and Deputy Chief Tim Deluhery Senior 40 years of service.
