At the Prairie du Chien Common Council meeting Tuesday night, the Council heard a report from City Administrator Chad Abram about funding for the planned public safety center:
Abram says after the committee is established they will then be able to start the process of finding an architect and construction firm. The council also approved some upcoming events including the Shamrock Shuffle 5k that will be a part of Prairie du Chien’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration on March 11th. That day will also include a parade. Also approved was US Coast Guard Day on July 22nd and Oktoberfest on October 18th. The Common Council met a week later than usual because of Election Day, and the next meeting is this coming Tuesday, March 7th.
