Retired actor and Iowa native Gary Kroeger (Saturday Night Live, Murder She Wrote, Night Court, Curb Your Enthusiasm) is bringing his Murder Mystery Series to McGregor on May 6th. Guests are welcome to dress as if it’s 1939 as they’ve been invited to a Hollywood movie premier. Producers, movie stars, a gossip columnist, and surprise guests will be there. Food and fun for everyone until….someone is murdered. Who? Who did it? Why? It will be up to YOU to figure it out based on clues and conversations you overhear. Several of the guests will even play roles, and will be suspects. Several main roles will be played by local actors! This event will be hosted by the ‘Friends of Determination Park’ in McGregor at the Backwoods Event Center on Saturday, May 6th, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance; and include event admission and period style party appetizers as well as complimentary champagne. A cash bar will also be available throughout the evening.
