Wisconsin School Target of “Swatting Calls”

Police in Chippewa Falls are calming fears after another report of a gunman at the high school. Officers rushed to the school yesterday after getting a call about a gunman. No one at Chippewa Falls High School had a gun, and police say there was never any danger. Officers saw it was another swatting call. School leaders in Rice Lake, Spooner, Superior, and Wausau all say they got similar calls as well yesterday. The calls came just one day after several Iowa schools were targets of the swatting calls.
