A Clayton County girl is safe after going missing for nearly four hours Saturday evening. The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a missing 5-year-old girl from her residence near Holy Cross. The child had wandered off at approximately 7:30 PM. Clayton County Deputies did an initial search of the area and were unable to locate the child. With the help of several local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, EMS services, Emergency Management, and drone services, the girl was found at about 11:20 PM a half mile from her residence. The girl was taken to Mercy One Hospital in Dubuque as a precaution and reunited with her family.
