Soccer:
The PDC/River Ridge/Seneca Girls Soccer team increased their season record to 2-0-1 at La Crosse Logan Monday night with an 8-0 win. The Blackhawks had 23 shots on net and 10 corner kicks compared to Logan’s 2 shots on net and 1 corner kick. Of Logan’s 2 shots on net, 1 was saved by goalkeeper Ava Forde and the other was saved by defender Addee Torgerson. Tessa Czajkowski Higgins and Jasmine Olmstead both had 4 goals each, with many other players being unsuccessful with their attempts on net. Notably, Emilee Snyder had 2 assists off of corner kicks, being able to place the ball perfectly on her teammate’s foot. The girls are on the road again next Tuesday at Platteville.
