WIAA has announced Football Conference Realignments that will take place in the 2024-2025 school year.
There will no longer be a Ridge & Valley 11 player football conference. Boscobel, Iowa-Grant, Riverdale, and Wauzeka-Steuben will all move to the Six Rivers Conference. Hillsboro and Ithaca will move to the Scenic Bluffs Conference. There will still be an 8 Player Ridge and Valley Conference which will include Highland.
Monticello and New Glarus out of the Capitol Conference will be splitting their Co-op. Monticello will join the 8-player Ridge and Valley, while New Glarus will head to the SWC.
Benton/ Scales Mound/ Shullsburg and Southwestern/East Dubuque will be switching from Six Rivers to the SWAL.
The changes will take effect in the fall of 2024, and are for football only.
