A Platteville man was arrested after Grant County deputies answered a call about a suspicious person on Old Potosi Road just outside of Lancaster on Tuesday afternoon. A deputy made contact and identified the man as 42-year-old Brandon Pollard. Due to strange behavior and signs of drug use, the K9 unit was brought in and a search turned up 16 grams of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $800, along with various drug paraphernalia items. Pollard was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting an Officer. The Lancaster Police Department and Lancaster EMS assisted at the scene.
