Manure To Stay on Monona Feedlot Until Plan Gets Approval

A Clayton County cattle feedlot operation has been told it cannot remove the manure from the farm’s twelve-thousand cattle until they come up with a new plan for getting rid of the manure. A judge ruled there are inconsistencies in the original plan filed by Supreme Beef near Monona. The ruling cites missing information, false manure samples from another farm, and calculations that don’t correctly account for the potential of manure in runoff.
