Crawford County Sheriff’s Department Traffic Stops Result in Drug Arrests

On Thursday, June 15th, 2023, an investigator with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a sports utility vehicle operated by Kimberly Spears (41) of Genoa, Wisconsin. Spears vehicle was occupied by Steven Parker (37) of Onalaska, Wisconsin, and a juvenile.

During the stop, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and a plastic baggie of heroin, plastic baggie of methamphetamine, smoking devices, and a digital scale were discovered. Also, Parker possessed heroin on his person.
Parker was placed under arrest and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also, Parker and Spears will be referred for charges of child endangerment.
On Wednesday, June 14th, 2023, an investigator with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a pickup truck operated by Tarance Jackson (41) of Mt. Hope, Wisconsin, in the City of Prairie du Chien.
During the stop, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances in the truck. A search of the truck was conducted and a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine and a methamphetamine smoking device were discovered.
Jackson was placed under arrest and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation
