A Lancaster man was injured while trying to pass another vehicle. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office says 74 year old Gerald Schwendinger of Lancaster was traveling south on Highway 61 Thursday afternoon when he came upon a vehicle driven by 43 year old.
Jennifer Boak of Steuben, who was making a left turn onto North Irish Ridge Road. Schwendinger attempted to pass Boak’s vehicle and struck the front driver’s side of her vehicle as she was turning. Schwendinger’s vehicle traveled off the roadway and overturned. Boak and her passenger were not injured. Schwendinger was taken to Gundersen Health in Boscobel.
