The Suicide Survivors Support Group invites community members that have been affected by suicide to attend a remembrance vigil on Monday, July 17 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at St. Feriole Island.
This is a supportive, judgment-free opportunity to promote healing, hope, and support to those affected by suicide. Empty chairs will be set up to symbolize their presence and yellow flowers to express our hope and support. You are welcome to take the flower home with you or place them in the river as a tribute. Please join us for this free, no matter how much time has passed.
There is no cost and pre-registration is not necessary. Light refreshments will be provided.
The support group meets on the third Monday of each month, from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the River District Hotel. Adults and adolescents over the age of 14 are welcome with a parent.
