The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in identifying the semi and driver involved in a 2 vehicle hit and run crash leaving a 16 year old Potosi juvenile without a vehicle. On Friday just before 7:00 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office was notified of a 2 vehicle crash on County Road O near the intersection with Rockville Road in Harrison Township. A 16 year old juvenile from Potosi was eastbound on County Road O when he reported a westbound semi with an empty flatbed construction trailer was hugging the centerline around a curve and clipped the driver’s side of his vehicle, setting off the airbags. The involved semi did not stop and the juvenile was not able to obtain a plate. The juvenile reported no injuries. It is believed the semi trailer would have minimal damage to the rear driver’s side.
