On September 17, 2023 at 3:28 AM the Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a stabbing that had occurred at 5503 Southwest Rd, Platteville Township, Grant County, Wisconsin. Investigating personnel learned that two men who were in Grant County from Florida for work, had been involved in an argument which led to one of the two men being stabbed and cut, multiple times by the other man. The Sheriff’s Office took Johnny Simon, age 45 of Orlando, FL, into custody and he is currently being held in the Grant County Jail awaiting formal charges. The matter is still being investigated and an updated press release will be sent after the investigation is complete and the subject is formally charged in court.
