On September 9th, 2023, Clayton County Deputies were dispatched to the Casino Queen in Marquette, IA for a verbal disagreement. Deputies located Jennifer Davis (50) of La Crosse Wisconsin. It was determined that Jennifer Davis was intoxicated while in a public place, placed under arrest for public intoxication, and transported to the Clayton County Jail.
On September 16, 2023, Clayton County Deputies were dispatched to 26087 Grandview Road for a break-in in process. Once on scene, Deputies encountered Kyle Bestler, age 37. A controlled substance was located on Bestler’s person. Bestler was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Clayton County Jail.
On September 18th, 2023, at approximately 7:40 p.m., the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle on Keystone Road near King Road in rural McGregor. A Clayton County deputy arrived and made contact with a female subject identified as Jeanette Marmo (46) of McGregor. After speaking with Marmo, she admitted to the deputy that she was in possession of multiple controlled substances. Her driving status was additionally found to be revoked. A probable cause search was conducted and Marmo was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Marmo was transported to the Clayton County Jail and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine (2’^ Offense), Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving While License Revoked.
