Two Separate Traffic Stops Lead to Arrests in Crawford County

On Tuesday, November 14th, 2023, at approximately 7:35 p.m. the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on STH 35 and Picatee Creek Road in the Township of Eastman. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Dexter Yarbough (54) of La Crosse, Wisconsin, and his passenger was identified as Marie Faeth (38) of Sparta, Wisconsin. During the traffic stop, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted, and methamphetamine and a loaded sawed-off 12-gauge-shotgun were discovered. Yarbough’s a convicted felon and he’s not to possess a firearm. Yarbough was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor and felony bail-jumping. Also, Yarbough was cited for not having a valid driver’s license, no insurance, and false display of registration plates. Faeth was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor bail-jumping. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Milo’s Towing Service.

On Saturday, November 18th, 2023, at approximately 1:25 p.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on STH 35 near STH 171 in the Township of Seneca. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Justin Vysocke (34) of Indianapolis, Indiana. Vysocke had an active warrant for his arrest, and he was discovered to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Vysocke was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, felony bail-jumping, and an active warrant. Also, Vysocke was cited for operating while suspended, display false registration plates, and no insurance.
