This past weekend the PDC/Fennimore Gymnastics team travelled to Platteville for a 13-team Invitational. The PDC/F team placed 8th with a score of 127.05. Mt. Horeb in first with a score of 137.725, 2nd Platteville Co-op 135.875, 3rd Sauk Prairie 133.825, 4th Reedsburg 131.75, 5th Viroqua 131.275, 6th Baraboo 130.25, 7th Dodgeville 127.85, 9th Southwestern Co-op 126.95, 10th Waunakee 125.425, 11th Monona Grove 115.20, 12th Whitewater 113.625, and 13th River Valley 107.675.
There were several stand-out performances this past weekend. All events were out of 65 gymnasts total competing. On the Vault, Madilyn Fisher placed 2nd with a score of 9.275. On the Uneven Bars, Taia Dressler had a season-high score of 8.075. On the Balance Beam, Alyssa Schoepp placed 4th with a score of 8.8, Fisher placed 12th with a score of 8.5. On the Floor Exercise, Fisher placed 5th with a score of 9.1 and Schoepp placed 12th with a score of 8.95. In the All Around, Fisher placed 5th with a score of 34.625 and Taia Dressler placed 18th with a score of 32.10.
The PDC/Fennimore Gymnastics Team will be hosting the Conference Meet this Thursday starting at 5:00 pm in the Competition Gym.
