Driftless Development Incorporated Executive Director, Carol Roth attended the Wisconsin Economic Development Association Legislative Day at the Capital on Wednesday. Legislative Day allows participants to network with colleagues, hear from key policymakers and other speakers, and participate in in-depth policy briefings and advocacy training. They also had a chance to meet with their legislators in the State Capitol to discuss WEDA’s legislative priorities. Some of the issues attendees were briefed on and discussed with lawmakers include talent attraction, workforce housing, and access to childcare. Roth also met with State Senator Brad Pfaff while at the Capitol.
