The possible closure of the Fisher Street Railroad Crossing on St. Feriole Island was discussed at Tuesday night’s Prairie du Chien Common Council meeting. City Administrator Chad Abram says the Public Works Committee sent it back to the council for a public hearing:
The first reading of the resolution is tentatively set for the next council meeting on August 16th.
Abram also addressed the news that Congressman Ron Kind put out last week about the new Public Safety Center that is in the works for the community:
