A Fennimore man has died after going missing Sunday afternoon. 69 year old Marlin Carl had been fishing at Pafenrath Lake when he did not return at his usual time. Family members responded to the area and located his boat on the water, but were unable to locate Carl. Muscoda Fire and EMS, Blue River Fire and EMS, DNR, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department K9 unit, and the Christian Aid Ministries Search and Rescue Team searched the area and Carl’s body was eventually recovered from the water. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
