Pair Facing Charges after Tresspassing

On September 4th, 2022, an investigator with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office was in the Township of Marietta, County of Crawford, Wisconsin conducting a follow-up to a theft investigation. After speaking with the landowners of property along Springside Lane, the investigator came upon a suspicious vehicle, Chevrolet HHR, parked on the owner’s property.

A search of the vehicle yielded a plastic baggie of a crystal-like substance, which later field tested positive for methamphetamine, and a glass smoking device with burnt white residue.

A Wisconsin DNR Warden searched the immediate area and located a female passenger hiding in the woods. The female was identified as Miranda Rabe, age 21, of Blue River who admitted she had hidden due to an active arrest warrant through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

Both Haskin and Rabe were arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail. Haskin was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating after revocation, and obstructing. Rabe was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing and held on her active warrant.
