The Prairie du Chien Common Council met Tuesday night and changed a couple of ordinances. One changes the north end of Illinois Street to two-way traffic with no left turn onto Washington Street at the stop sign. The other change involves changing the wording of the engine brakes ordinance to state that engine brake mufflers are required.
The Council went into closed session and waved their right to re-purchase land at Woodridge Acres. The original purchaser of the land decided not to build on the lot, and the council’s action allows the owner to sell the lot on their own.
