Two Arrested for Possession of Meth in Crawford County

Two people were arrested for Meth Possession in Crawford County on Sunday, December 11th.  The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by a revoked driver on Highway 18 in the Township of Bridgeport. The driver was identified as 30 year old Patrick Higgins of Epworth, Iowa, and his passenger was identified as 28 year old Douglas Perry of Dubuque. K9 Diego was deployed during the stop and was alerted to the presence of narcotics. A search turned up about 15 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and other items commonly associated with the sales and distribution of methamphetamine. Higgins and Perry were arrested and booked in the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
